About us
Ours is a growing church with about hundred believers in the main church. We work in seven villages on the outskirts of Madurai and take the church into the villages since the villagers could not make it to church.
Having experienced abject poverty during childhood days, to reach out to the poor and needy became the passion of my life when I grew up, got a job and became financially sound. This fuel was fanned into flame when I visited the villages around Madurai, in the year 1997.
People here are dehumanized in different forms and I felt a sure need for their spiritual and physical emancipation. We as a family and as a church have been working among these seven villages right from 2002, sharing the love of Christ through Word and deed.
I am deeply convinced of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, our Messiah’s ministry of preaching and healing. Jesus’ words: “The spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour”. (Luke 4:18-19) form the basis of our ministry. My thoughts fall in line with that of St Ignatius of Loyola who said, “If our church is not marked by caring for the poor, the oppressed, the hungry, we are guilty of heresy”. Yes, I believe in a Gospel of word and deed and this has motivated me and my church to concentrate on the following types of ministry.

To impact the marginalized villages around Madurai with the love of Jesus Christ through good deeds.
Giving training to young men and women in social and Missionary work and teaching them biblical truth and employ the dedicated to carry the Gospel of Word and deed to the unreached and downtrodden people.
To be the salt and light of the world and to let the world see the good deeds and praise our Father in heaven.
He named it REHOBOTH, Saying, "Now the Lord has given us room and we will flourish in the land" (Gen 26:22)
